REGENCE GILT-BRONZE-MOUNTED BOULLE BRACKET TIMEPIECE - OAK LONGCASE CLOCK - GILT-SPELTER MANTEL CLOCK - GILT-SPELTER MANTEL CLOCK

A SMALL REGENCE GILT-BRONZE-MOUNTED BOULLE BRACKET TIMEPIECE, the
chased gilt dial with blue enamel numerals and a plaque below VI signed CDG Mesnil A
Paris, the similarly signed movement with shaped plates and later escapement, in an
arched straight-sided case inlaid with engraved foliate scrolls on a dark shell ground and
with a female mask above the dial and later Chinaman cresting.

A Louis XV GILT-BRONZE-MOUNTED BRACKET CLOCK AND BRACKET, the 25-piece
enamel dial signed Quoniam L’Aine A Paris, the similarly signed movement with outside
numbered count wheel and later anchor escapement, the waisted case now painted dark
green and with a pierced floral cresting, a peacock below the dial and rococo mounts
composed of shellwqrk, scrolls and leaves, 34in. high (87cm.), and a matching ogee Bracket,
similarly mounted, 14in. high (35.5cm.) circa 1760.

A LIEGE OAK LONGCASE CLOCK, the indistinctly signed Gute De Becke A Liege on a plaque in the arch and with alarum dise and pierced foliate sprandrels, the movement with anchor

escapement and Dutch striking, the case with an ogee cresting surmounted by a gilt Atlas and two trumpeters and a bull’s eye, the whole well carved with rococo shellwork,

scrolls and sprays of leaves and flowers, the sides and plinths panelled, 9ft. 6in. high (289cm.) overall, 18th Century, clock with alteration.

AN UNUSUAL GILT-BRONZE-MOUNTED BRACKET CLOCK, the gilt dial with blue
enamel numerals and the movement with rectangular plates, later anchor escapement
and outside count wheel, in a shaped case veneered in richly figured wood and with
foliate and strapwork mounts, a shell cresting and unusual mask and scroll feet.
(75cm.)first halfof 18th Century, probably South German, with restoration.

AN UNUSUAL LACCA POVERA LONGCASE CLOCK with a convex wood dial with floral
spandrels and spring-driven movement, the case of slender proportions and decorated
overall on a yellow ground with figures, landscapes, buildings, birds and a cherub,
7ft. 7in. high (231cm.), case North Italian, 18th Century.

A GERMAN GREEN-PAINTED AND GILTWOOD QUARTER-STRIKING LONGCASE CLOCK,
the 12-inch dial with decorated repousse centre, spandrels and arch, the associated
grande sonnerie movement contained in a panelled broken-arch case with a bull’s eye in
the waist door, carved gilt borders, 8ft. 9in. high (267cm.) late 18th Century, movement
probably Austrian.

A GILT-BRONZE MANTEL CLOCK, the dial
with arabic numerals, the rectangular case cast with leaf borders, the sides with carrying handles, the whole sur-mounted by an urn, 15fini 40cm, c. 1890.

A BOULLE MANTEL CLOCK, the dial with enamel numerals, in a waisted case inset with cut-brass foliage on a red ground, 14in; 36cm, c. 1900.

A GILT-SPELTER MANTEL CLOCK, the dial in a drum case flanked by a figure of a seated woman; 32cm, with key and pendulum, with a gilt wood plinth, c. 1880.

A BRASS MANTEL CLOCK, the enamel dial with roman numerals, the case flanked by cherub terms below an arched top, 29cm, with key and pendulum, c. 1870.

A BRASS LANTERN TIMEPIECE, the dial with roman numerals, the case flanked by four pillars and surmounted by a domed bell with a turned finial, 27cm, late 19th century.

A PiCTURE-FRAME CLOCK, the movement contained in a glazed gilt-plaster frame, the dial with enamel numerals and brass inlaid spandrels, 24^in; 62cm square, pendulum and key,

third quarter of the 19th century.

A MARBLE ART DECO CLOCK GARNITURE, the clock surmounted by a spelter Borzoi flanked by a spelter and plastic female figure reading a book, seated on a balustrade, flanked by two

small balustraded sections, the clock 18in; 46.5cm wide, 1920’s.

A BRASS MANTEL CLOCK, the dial with enamel roman numerals, in a rectangular case applied with lion head and ring handles at the sides and sur¬mounted by an urn, on paw feet,

17in; 43cm, with key and pendulum, second quarter of the 20th century.

A   GILT-SPELTER   MANTEL   CLOCK,   no. 1029, made for Thomas Pearce & Son,Paris, the movement flanked by Cupid as an Indian prince, playing with a tortoise, 8i by 21 by 34cm,

with key and pendulum, 1870’s.
